The aim of psychotherapy is to increase your wellbeing and to strengthen your capacity to make empowering choices in life.
At AIH, only our advanced students of the Master of Psychotherapy programme provide this service. They are supervised each week by teaching staff from the Department of Psychotherapy.
Some of the issues we work with include:
- Grief and loss
- Trauma recovery
- Relationship difficulties
- Personal development
- Self esteem
How we can help you
Psychotherapy helps you examine your life and life contexts (for example, backgrounds), so that you have a better understanding of yourself and can make and maintain meaningful changes in your life. We respect your goals and values while aiming to help you improve your self- esteem, quality of life and relationships or heal the impact of challenging life experiences.
AIH has different spaces to meet the needs of our patients, including areas for group education and individual or private consultations.
